Latin America Trip with the Federal President
Paraguay, where CREMER runs a biodiesel plant, was - along with Uruguay and Chile - one of the stops on a recent trip by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, in which CREMER CEO Dr. Ullrich Wegner and seven other German business representatives took part.
Over the course of a week, numerous meetings with political and business leaders focused on strengthening partnerships in the region and exploring the potential for further local activities.

In Brazil, after decades of importing South East Asian oleochemicals, CREMER OLEO opened an export unit in 2019 - one year later it was the most successful glycerine exporter in the country. In Paraguay, CREMER OLEO operates the country's first biodiesel plant. CREMER ERZKONTOR supplies industrial companies in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico with minerals, chemicals and plastics. CREMER STEEL's local business focuses on the supply of steel products for processing industries. Peter Cremer do Brasil is active in the import and export of soya, grain and steel products. And Cremer y Asociados in Argentina produces biodiesel and trades beans, soya, corn and organic products.
