Living Sustainability: CREMER Supports "Hamburg Cleans Up”
More than 30 dedicated colleagues from various CREMER units joined forces to make Hamburg a little cleaner. Organized by our sustainability team, we set out on four routes: around the Central Station, in St. Georg, in the Speicherstadt and along the Alster.
Together, we collected around 45 garbage bags full of waste – a total of around 180 kilograms. Alongside the usual plastic packaging and bottles, we also came across some unexpected finds, including half of a fishing rod, a public transportation pass, and a wheel cap.
We celebrated with an after-work gathering to thank the teams for their amazing contributions after a day of intense work. Over delicious food and drinks, we wrapped up a successful and rewarding day.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to a cleaner Hamburg - both at CREMER and throughout the city. Over the course of ten days, almost 100,000 Hamburgers were out and about in public spaces, helping to make the city more beautiful for spring.
For us at CREMER, this was a truly meaningful initiative, and we look forward to participating again next year.
